Early Career
This section covers my early career in the game industry, spanning 1998 through 2001, prior to transitioning into full-time game design and creative roles. During this period, I worked across quality assurance, production support, marketing coordination, and game evaluation, gaining direct exposure to the realities of game development across multiple studios and platforms.
I served in roles including Assistant Producer, QA Manager, QA Lead, Tester, Game Evaluation Writer, and Marketing Coordinator, working closely with designers, engineers, producers, and marketing teams. This work provided hands-on experience with development pipelines, content evaluation, milestone testing, cross-discipline communication, and release readiness.
A defining moment of this period was my participation on the Sega Dreamcast launch team, supporting third-party titles during a major console launch. This experience provided firsthand insight into platform launches, certification requirements, production pressure, and the coordination required to ship games at scale.
